City Weekend says

This shop tucked within cosy Ferguson Lane offers a diverse selection of wines for every price. It's a good place to learn about wines (they have a selection of wines by the glass for you to try) or for wine experts to pick up new bottles, and it has an excellent, hidden outdoor patio that's great when it's nice out.

Contributor Description

The Lowdown

It's a warm and inviting spot that offers a wide variety of wines and canapes depending on the evening you go.

Marcus Ford is really friendly and welcoming plus he's prepared to help either the wine novice or the wine connoisseur. A broad range of wines are on offer and there is a cool bar area to sit and chat about the grapes.

Membership

They have instituted a membership card for people that entitles you to a bunch of perks. One of them is the fact that you have access to the "pour as you go" wine dispensers that allow people to try wines by the glass. Although I wasnt able to get upstairs, its worth popping in and asking to see the private wine tasting area that has some "choice" selections.

Look to the other corner

It's tucked away on the other corner of Ferguson lane - directly on the opposite side from the Coffee Tree.

We just came back after having a great day at The Wine Way. Their rooftop is a beautiful spot to spend a sunny day with a nice bottle of wine. Their service is really good there, they brought water and snack free of charge. Their selections of wines are pretty good and their wine dispenser system allows you to try a bit of everything. You can even order a pizza and some snacks from the restaurants nearby. Amazing little spot in Shanghai.

The terrace here is fantastic; sit up here surrounded by greenery, glass of wine in hand, and you'll be hard-pressed to remember that you're in Shanghai. A membership card is RMB300 -- an RMB100 registration fee and RMB200 of credit. Wine by the glass starts at about 23, though the far better-tasting options are 60+. Cheap, no, but combined with a pizza from a cote it's a lovely escape from the dust and grime of the city.
