This large spot has a Chinese vibe and all kind of open bar shenanigans. Not too many laowai rock up, perhaps for good reason. The occasional international booking sees mainly Japanese DJs coming over to play.
During the year 2009, inside Tong Le, with a "Space Metallic" aura, Club JS can be spotted. Just hitting the road, Club JS has been able to generate it's own individual style of music, along with an all new international nightlife experience. By the end of 2009, the growing Club JS is now an established club, with a notable economic goal---to transform Bar Culture into a Night Club, and Party People into Club Culture. This avant-garde has made an impact on all clubs within Shanghai, causing a rise in interest to this innovative idea. This past year, divergent clubs have emerged, causing in a great variety of clubs. Despite the negative influence these rising clubs have brought onto Club JS's market, Club JS is still able to maintain its reputation as a classic within the club market, due to its foundation, and unique style of music. Club JS will never stop its footsteps, for the market is in need of unprecedented proceedings. Thus, Club JS has once again decided to make adjustments to become more diverse in all different aspects. On April 1, 2010, Club JS will present itself in an all new, never before seen, way. After the cumulative experience over time, the hardship, and the innovations, Club JS has worked its way to again set a standard for clubs in Shanghai. Once again Club JS will lead Shanghai to a new style of nightlife, with diversity in music, evolutionary fashion, and a rich rousing "Party Culture". After resurrecting, Club JS will now color nightlife with a whole new shade of color! Sketching and writing it's very own age of "Shanghai Style".
