In an ode to 1930s Shanghai, Yucca has rich colors, low lighting and luxurious seating, with an eclipsed lair upstairs for cigar aficionados. The sumptuous lounge offers up flawless cocktails (try a classic manhattan or a more modern cosa nostra) by Ryan Noreiks and nibbles borrowed from 12 Chairs so that you can get a taste of the decadent dining experience upstairs. It is an ideal spot to start the evening or cozy up and enjoy an after-dinner drink.

EVERY TUESDAY IS PINK COSMO NITE My exprience: It was awesome! David was extraordinarily gracious and kind. I really enjoyed myself. So everyone, show up next Tuesday at YUCCA. It's the place to be every Tuesday night! The drinks are also amazing. There are plenty of drinks that are "special" mix from the bartender (with the perfect eyebrow) himself. =P The atmosphere is relaxing & casual. It's easy for your to be yourself in this joint. The music is different. What's unique about it is that it's got "class." Yup, that's right. Yucca plays "classy" head bopping tunes. Start your evening right below at Sinan Mansions's Fat Olive, then take the lift up to the 3rd fl. for some after dinner cocktails or drinks, chat with the friendly people all around. Yucca is the kind of place that grows on you. It creeps up on you and becomes your second home. It's "the" place you can drop by any time of the day just because.
SEE YOU ALL AT YUCCA TUESDAY!!!!
yes. 25 rmb was history. damn inflation

actually rmb35 for the expresso one~
RMB25 for one martini...love their expresso martini

Great atmosphere and excitable crowd — it can get very packed. I was impressed by the bar layout. But I was taken aback by the taste of some of Yucca's drinks. Either my palate simply isn't experienced enough, or Yucca is trying to be too much of a chemist with its concoctions.

Clearly a City Weekend favorite. Went last night for martini night (rmb25 on Thursdays). The place was absolutely packed. Good crowd, comfortable seats (if you could get them), and good prices on tea for one of our granny-like friends (rmb18 for a big pot).

Love the quirky decor of this place. Get there on Thursdays for the RMB25 martinis., they are a heavenly deal. Be warned though, they are very strong...

Went for the RMB25 martinis Thursday night, sweet deal. Nacho chips (plain) are an absolutely RIDICULOUS RMB69 though. Next time I'll just have three more martinis instead.
Pretty good place, high prices of course (RMB85 for a specialty cocktail, RMB60 for the cheapest wine pour). The place did get a bit rambunctious last night with one women getting plastered and taking a spill at the early hour of 10pm. Yee-haw! Laris himself (looking more and more like Frank Bray every day) passed out comp pours of champagne. Decent crowd, nice ambiance, cozy enough. All good.

Recently discovered that this place is on several top Design-websites prized for unique design. Would certainly visit it soon.. to check if their martinis as prize-worthy as design! :)
