This is a solid option for Western food and well-priced beers if you're out in Gubei. It's a little hard to find because, despite the address, it is not on Hongmei Lu, but down on Chengjia Qiaozhi Lu. A five-hour daily happy hour (buy-one-get-one on everything till 9pm), and decent food prices make this a good option for those living way out west.

Cosmo bar&restaurant is new and great ambience for friends party, it serve high quality American food, Live music, televisions, quiet out door with comfortable rattan chairs. Long happy hour every day. best margarita and Mojito in the town with good price(35rmb/g). Cosmo is a new nightlife bar in Gubei area. meet some friends from any where in the world. Good service and food always!

I believe the owners of this establishment are striving for the grail of perfection, however removed. Staff using a clearly visible sink, to indulge a sweat wipe down, is okay. Because many other establishments allow this to occur in the confines of a closed kitchen. So, in all fairness previous comments should be viewed, with this detail forefront in ones mind, an air of openness, however repulsive it may seem. It is far better than indulging, gorging in the unseen. Staff always smiled and gave courtesy above what was required. I believe an improvement factor has been derived and this is life. Do we not live life in Shanghai?
I returned for a follow up visit the other night to find some pleasant changes. No cable TV, but they have invested in a big screen for movies. Staff seem to better trained, with the exception of the waiter that decided to clean out his nasal cavity, in the sink to wash glasses. To his credit he apologized when I challenged him on this point of hygiene and decorum. Leaving a bad taste in my mouth, I departed without tasting from the menu. But I must say the aroma and presentation of food coming from the kitchen was a stark contrast to the theatrics in the Bar Sink. Keep improving!
This is a great little spot with awesome outdoor seating. The manager, Ray, is one of the nicest guys and really tries his best to make sure there is great service and everyone is happy. They also have some of the best cheesesticks I have ever tasted!
The staff seem to be mysteriously overcharging, so keep a close idea on your bill. Much better options in the walking street. Good option if you need to hide for a while, take advantage of the small cubicle style upstairs seating arrangement. Not for everyone, needs cable TV, Pool Table, DJ or some attractive bar staff. Hong Mei walking street you'll find at least one of these. WHATS UP. Prices similar to walking street.
Dellcious! Service is excellent, food tastes great and prices are very reasonable! It's on the street next to Cityshop on Hongmei lu. Ray has hot mulled wine available during the winter too. Yum!
COSMO is THE new place to be. If you anyway plan to go to the Hongqiao Entertainment street, you should drive a view roads further to visit COSMO. Ex-Bluefrog Manager Ray takes really good care for his guests. Delicious food, great cocktails, happy hour prices and other special offers saving also some money. See you there!
Nice service with a sharp price! Try their hawaii burgers and be pleasantly surprised. One of the few places in Shanghai with a decent terrace to drink a mojito.
Such a welcoming place. Great food. Chilli,cheese fries are amazing. I prefer the atmosphere here to the pedestrian street. The quiz on Wednesday is always fun. My husband enjoys the darts night on Tuesday. The terrace is great.
