I was seen by Dr. Julie. She speaks english very fluently. I agree with edollarsonline about the place, its cozy! It was a perfect get away from the busy streets of Huaihai. I feel relaxed. They have a personalized service, and ideal for a family dentistry as what onlinebiz says.
I thought I would follow-up and share that my family has been back multiple times and can thank the dentists and staff there enough - they are truly wonderful with children and they provide excellent services. I recommend them all the time!
The services are great! I am glad to know that travel back to Taiwan is NOT necessary when such services like CAD are found in Shanghai. Well recommended for family dentistry. And I say, Excellent! Dr. Choo made a good job on my tooth.
hey there skinpig, I gonna say that my doctor's name is George but I don't care his last name is Zhu or Choo. That's meaningless to me. I can't figure out the difference. What I am talking about were the services there and I am really satisfied with it. I think you are getting too personal already and it shows like you have a personal hatred to CAD.
Notice picture 7 says 'GPA Dental' and not CAD dental? Draw your own conclusion!
It is odd that there has never been a mention of who the doctor is. Most other reviews on clinics will mention the doctor. It is a personal service, is it not? The person that claimed to be Singapore trained(of course he is not) is this dr geroge choo(notice he changed his surname from zhu to choo to sound more singaporean). Once again, try at your own risks!
I went to CAD last week after being referred by a friend. My experience is great. The environment is perfect for it is located in a villa at central Huai Hai. I like the place really, I feel relaxed and stress free,
I don't know about the other positive posts, but I can verify that I do not in any work for CAD or am related to anyone who works there. My experience was based on the experience of one visit with my family. I will be going back soon for some additional work and will let you know if I still feel as positive about this practice.
A friend's father had some crowns done. All fell out in one week! TRY AT YOUR OWN RISK!! The positive postings so far appear very descriptive, don't you think? Self promotion? Most likely!!
The International staff that CAD has had a very friendly approach when it comes to their patient’s needs as they will make you feel comfy. CAD did a great job for my tooth… The crown looks perfectly natural and I could not even notice that I am wearing a fake tooth. Perfect job! No awful smell of molds placed inside the mouth, I just sat down and they took a picture of my tooth and designed it in front of me with the computer. WoW!!!! I never imagined that they have that advanced type of technology!!! What I was expecting was I need to wait for the crown to be done by a dental technician but hey, No! It’s the dentist who will do everything aided by the computer equipment. after 1 hour “PUFF!” My crown is ready! Very advanced! My wife is even looking forward for a treatment next week. +100
This is a scam! No Singapore team involved. Try at your own risks! Look at their website, and you will notice much cut and paste! Even the testamonies were cut and paste from other websites!
What a wonderful practice! I choose CAD Dental because of some feedback I received from Shanghaimamas Yahoo group and wasn't dissapointed. They are excellent with children and adults too! My 4 year old daughter and husband both had appointments at the same time, when my daughter started to get nervous we decided to check up on dad, and his dentist invited us in, picked up my daughter and explained what he was doing. The children's exam room is colorful and the tech and dentist were well prepared for a 4 year old. All the staff were friendly and the place is clean and modern. It's my turn next and I must say, I'm looking forward to it!
too expensive for what you get. Acc the dentist I had to replace the majority of my fillings ??? no way! (have been to 6 dentists now in Shanghai)
