City Weekend says

Good restaurants just seem to keep popping up on Jinxian Lu. This small Thai restaurant serves authentic curries, rich lemongrass-scented soups, spicy sauteed morning glory and more. A cozy ambiance and polite service seal the deal.

To call it a cozy lttle place is an understatement. This place is a nano restuarant. However, good things come in small packages and the Thai food which is priced right at this place has me going back again and again. The Lemon Fish is possibly one of the best Thai dishes that I have had in Shanghai. On a busy night, you might have to wait outside for a bit, but it is worth the wait.

tried Qing Mai about a month ago, and while the food is good, it doesn't quite reach amazing for me. But the restaurant has this cozy, private vibe - it's definitely one of those restaurants that people are always referring to as "the gem of a thai restaurant I discovered", the go-to restaurant you bring your visiting friends with (you know, to impress them with your knowledge of Shanghai). I think that makes the food tastes better. Will agree that that they have one of the best papaya salads in Shanghai though - but like all Thai places - they need to add more spice!

Yes I've been to this place. It's nice! Though it gets super crowded (easy since it only has 6 tables). It's reasonably priced and the curries are quality. It's a very good Friday night restuarant (just get there a bit early)

It's a tiny restaurant with just 6 tables. It has a good menu with all the standard thai dishes with good ingredients and flavors. If you just want regular good thai food and are disappointed by all the other so called thai restaurants in town, this is the place to go. Enjoy!

The best Thai food experience I've had in China. It is not a place to bring a crowd, four is the max table size and it could take a bit to get a seat here during the busy hours - but it is worth the wait. Crisp spring rolls are a great starter and you can begin with a Beer Lao Dark - the most delicious beer in Southeast Asia. We've explored a large part of the menu and haven't been disappointed by anything - the curry is spot on.

I happened to walk across this little Thai place a few months back and finally had the chance to check it out. I luckily remembered to take a business card before, as there are no listings yet for this place. This is a very small Thai restaurant that seats maybe 20 ppl. The inside decor and paint color isn't much to write about.

But the service was very friendly and the food was FANTASTIC! The curry I had was the best Thai curry I have had in Shanghai. Their spring rolls and shrimp paste watercress was also a great addition!

Well recommended. I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants. As of now, this is one of the best I've been to.
