City Weekend says

Housed in a creaky wooden siheyuan, this pint-sized Sichuan venue is an ideal place for gorging on spicy foods and drowning beers. Try the house specialties including the homemade sausage with peppercorns, twice cooked pork (presented on scoops of chili flakes) and rabbit hot pot on the cheap. Spicy!

Chinese Bite | Three Hot Sisters This restaurant is housed in a two-story wooden siheyuan, with a narrow promenade, off-keel balcony tables, rowdy diners and stomping, braying waitresses. Walk through these dinky and rather labyrinthine corridors and you'll find food which is utterly fun to eat. In fact, we suggest you cover your table with as many dishes as possible–this kitchen encourages reckless consumption and we were happy to comply. The house sausage (¥32), studded with peppercorns and mottled with fat, a guilty and irresistible pleasure. Definitely try the twice-cooked pork garnished with baby leeks (¥28) bedded on hefty scoops of chili flakes. The meat is unusually aromatic and tangy. The ceiling is just high enough for you to rise half way out of your seat and shout for more beer. You'll need it for the fire-exploded bokchoy (¥12) (well it's not that spicy), and then return to the indulgently greasy rabbit hotpot (¥56) and splendid duck with tea tree mushrooms (¥48). Be forewarned. Your bowels may pay a price for such scintillating Sichuan later on. Eustace Sinykin
