Get a taste of Russia only 15 minutes from the Bund. Dishes like pancakes and beef stroganoff are popular, but the real reason to come is to sample the overwhelming array of vodka and bust a move to the live band that happily belts out Russian pop until the wee hours. Rub elbows with the Russian expats sitting next to you at the cafeteria-style tables.

5 stars doesn't mean perfection, but means a place to definitely go. And if it happens to be on Friday or Saturday night between 8 and 11pm, you will literally be teleported to the ex Soviet Union, where people dress in their own fashion, drink vodka and dance to ex Soviet vibes, performed by an ex Soviet band. Food is excellent and authentic, and the drink list as you may expect from a Russian restaurant. And no matter how much you eat and drink, you will never ever pay more than 200 per person! That's why I give it 5 bright stars!

This restaurant is easily on a top 3 of mine. Why is it not packed day in and day out? I blame their marketing and promotions. The food here is too die for. I have brought a lot of people who have yet to experience Russian food, all of them have been continuing to go.
I would put my food critic career (trust me it's not much) on the line for this restaurant.

A great place to spend a Friday or Saturday evening with friends. Bottles of Stoli for 170 RMB, I'll take 3 + 8 friends and we're bound to have a good time. The food is simple but very comforting, every dish seems to be covered in cream or cheese (but that is a good thing). The 3 girl band isnt very good but their entertment value exponential increases with each shot of vodka. I'm sure I'll be back with my crew of rapscallions some time soon
