City Weekend says

The sister restaurant to Haiku by Hatsune serves a good selection of creative and tasty Japanese food including sushi rolls as well as sashimi, tempura and noodles. A conveniently situation and decent value lunch sets make it an ideal business lunch choice for those seeking an escape from the daily grind in busy Lujiazui.

Haiku Incorporated

Restaurants in office buildings and shopping malls seem to lack a certain je ne sais quoi, and certainly, Sushi Inc. is no exception. It's all very nicely done, a little mezzanine terrace inside the building with comfortable banquettes and a soothing water feature, but still inside an office tower. You just can't get away from it. Service was a little faltering and the arrival of the food was slow, but when it came, we were mostly impressed. We tried a bunch of rolls and, as this is the sister restaurant to Haiku by Hatsune, a place we love, the standard was excellent, although the selection was smaller. The Wasabi Challenge (YY65) almost blew our heads off, but we can't say the waiter didn't warn us, and a crispy Sake-2-me (YY65) was the favorite. A few teething problems--the edamame (YY18) was lacking flavor and a usual favourite, the octopus sashimi (part of a large plate at YY380), was tasteless and rubbery. Disappointed by the lack of choice in wines by the glass and the YY60 price tag, we opted for a bottle of Californian chardonnay, the Smoking Loon, which turned out to be a winner. In general, a bonus for those working in the area and those who don't want to make a jaunt across the river, but we prefer the much more pleasant ambiance at Haiku. --Elyse Singleton

Went to Sushi Inc for lunch on the weekend. The sashimi was very good, cut thick and very fresh. However, the rolls were very dissappointing. The rice was mushy, very un-sushi like. Unfortunately, ordered 2 rolls and struggled to finish them. A senior staff came around to ask us about how the food was and we told her. Hope she would feedback to the kitchen and that they would check their rice first before making the rolls.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! It is hands down my favorite lunch spot. I have gone countless times so much so that the friendly staff know me by name. The food quality is excellent and consistent regardless if you sit in or take-away. I would suggest calling for a reservation as they are usually busy. My personal fav is to split the medium sashmi and a couple of rolls (119 is the BEST!) with a friend or sashmi and salad with the wasabi dressing.

Best bento box I've had in Shanghai. The attentiveness of the staff made an impression on me as well. Not a cheap place, but I'll be back again for the great tasting and well presented food.

We were impressed with the quality of the food served and the staffs were efficient. However, the honestly of the staff is something that we will always remember. We left the iPhone behind and the staff found it during closing hours. They called to informed us that they have found the phone and promised to safe keep it. The staff who found the phone refused a 100rmb reward. Insisting that she was only doing her job. Now we are impressed!!
