My friends know I have an on going love affair with Element Fresh. I just loooooove the wraps and salads, as well as the smoothies (Very Berry is my fave). I think EF truly deserves the recognition. However, since coming back after the September/October holidays, it seems that the SBM staff has gone through a reshuffling. Most are new, and that affected the kind of service I got recently. Still, overall I'd highly recommend EF to everyone.

After dismissing Element Fresh as a place for the vegans, I've done a 180 degree turnaround with this restaurant. I'm impressed by the size of their menu, the food portions and the amazing shakes/smoothies this restaurant puts together. Added to this Element Fresh is the presence of being in the Super Brand Mall, square in the middle of the Pudong area, surrounded by Shanghai's skyscrapers.
Love the Element Latte (espresso + soy milk).
It was THE soy latte that got me hooked on soy latte.
Great smoothies.
And decent, albeit pricey food overall.
Expensive compared to other places providing similar stuff. They have great juices but for Salads etc. we preferred places like WAGAS.
We ordered salad without mushrooms but it arrived with mushrooms. The food arrived but without plates and the waitress said "she forgot'...
Good food, nice selections, good service, but overpriced for what it is (glorified Wagas?). Two entres, one salad, two drinks = 400 rmb, come on. For a little more you can eat at the Park Hyatt not too far from there! Plus in China, anything with "fresh" on the menu should be taken with a grain of salt.
