Located just steps away from the labyrinth of Moganshan Lu art galleries is this space devoted to the subtleties of photography. Contemporary, experimental, and traditional photos are all given exposure via the eclectic artists associated with the gallery.

This is perhaps the best photography gallery in China, not to say Shanghai. They are not inside of the main Moganshan Road complex but across the street so it is possible to miss the gallery or walk past it, but for contemporary photography its amazing, and for Moganshan Road it's arguably one of the best galleries on the street as well. Check it out if you are in Shanghai.
One of the best Shanghai galleries, consistently high level of work, simply presented. They have some of my favourite photographers on their books, and the last few exhibitions have been beautiful. Not solely Chinese photographers, but all very involved with China. The Robert Van Der Hilst "Chinese Interiors" show in March/April was stunning. Highly recommended
