Famous for fish, tea and home-produced raw-silk, Tianmu Lake is one of the best natural spots near Shanghai. Arrive Saturday for lunch at a waterfront restaurant, and an afternoon bike to the booming town of LiYang on the banks of Tianmu. Dinner will be BBQ served outdoors at our hotel nested at the base of the bamboo covered mountains. On Sunday morning explore the hotel grounds, including pools and pagodas and take a short hike into the bamboo.
