TOTAL SCAM.
Went there couple of weeks ago. Once we were already sitting a filipino waiter shows up and tells us sorry, is 120 kuais only for the barbeque, if you want to have the Stella beer deal you need to pay 80 kuais more. I tried to called the manager with whom I booked the table and that in the phone speaks english with native accent and he never picked up. The filipino guy was even saying that in the ad was clear that it was 120 plus 80 making 200 for the full deal. So i pulled out my phone and showed him the ad. Then he said : OK, give me 150 and you get the deal. We end up bargaining like in the lowest of Chinese joints. SInce we were already there, tired and hungry we went for the 150 kuais.
Around 8 the rest of the group showed up, we forgot to tell them about the new conditions of the deals, so by the time we paid one of my friends got very very angry, with reason, and started arguing with this filipino guy . FInally since my friend got very very aggressive after feeling scammed.. the filipino guy said: OK the second group pays the advertised 120 but the first group have to pay 150 because they already agreed with that.
What a crappy service. Scamming people just for 30 kuais. ITs a pitty because the place is nice and the food not bad. We would deefinitely be there both weds and sundays but with that vulture attitude the management haves... NO WAY.
AVOID GETTING Into an embarrasing argument for 30 kuais. Don't go to KAKADU.
