At 9.36am, Shanghai residents will be able to see a total eclipse of the sun that lasts for up to 5 minutes and 9 seconds.
Don’t miss this one: the last Shanghai solar eclipse was during the Ming Dynasty, in 1575, and the next one’s on June 13, 2132.
