What is it about Ireland that they have to send some poor punter off to every distant corner of the earth to teach the natives how to serve up a proper pint of Guinness? Well, God bless 'em, one and all. Especially the young lad from West Ireland who opened this pub. No problem in the world that can't be solved here over a glass of fine Irish whisky. And they'll even feed you here, as well. The only thing missing is a fish-monger named Molly Malone to fall in love with.

I really like the Paddy Field. You won't find a better bar in Guangzhou especially if networking is your thing. Lot's of executives and company reps and minus the many American English teachers that fill the night with a million questions. Great Place
Yeah this place has gone downhill since I first visited it, and the food there aint good, at least its poorly cooked and taste nothing. The nice friendly feeling is also gone, dun know what happened. This place have the potentials, but it takes good staff and a good owner to make that happen. I wont go there again !
I've been there a few times and is not a big fan - must agree with below review that the place lacks caracter. Good beer tough...
I tried it more than once but although busy there was no friendly feeling about it. For those who know stouts like Guinness they also know it doesn't travel well. This bar is no exception. Food? Ugh! The place just wants your money - over priced and middle quality. And the marketing hype - wtf? Dollied up sales girls in uniform belong to exhibitions, not pubs. Sorry to say, but PF has a long way to go to match the friendliness, plain cameraderie, cost v quality of food or the quality selection of whiskies of nearby Hill Bar.
Now I feel like a grump, which I'm not.
i have been there once,it was Thursday salsa dancing night,so crowded and i could not find a seat...pity no one dance with me...next time i may wear plain so that more easy going
What a great place, finally I have found a Irish bar worth mentioning in Guangzhou. Kilkenny, Guiness, Irish whiskey, very nice staff with promt service, and very reasonable pricing. The place reminded me a bit of O"Malleys in Shanghai. I will for sure become a regular at The Paddy after my first visit there last night. I really enjoyed it, and for a pub scene this muz be up in the top 5 in GZ. Just go there.....
Absolutely the best pub in Guangzhou, bar none. Makes the one other Irish pub in town look English.
Still a great place to be at least on Thursday's for the "Salsa Caliente", with DJs Edwin's music which is an intoxicating mix of Mambo, Salsa, Merengue & Bachata, least but not the last the great friendly team of Philippino Waiters.
