Description
Pizza's the name of the game at Craig Willis' newest restaurant. All the thin-crust pies come freshly baked from the oven along with gooey, meltingly cheesy lasagna and creamy tiramisu. The casual ambiance and constant good cheer from Willis, former executive chef of the Wagas chain, make this restaurant a great option for a fun night out.

The roasted vegetables are lovely as was the salmon. Relaxed atmosphere and polite service.

I second bill_greyskull's comment -- the potato pizza is delicious and an excellent hangover cure. I also love it the next day, when it's been sitting cold in the fridge for 12 hours.

I agree that the potato pizza is the winner here and that the buffalo mozzarella is not 100% on target. The crusts on all pizza are excellent, on the thin side, perfectly crispy. But what I like most about this place is the atmosphere, authentic "pizzeria" vibe that is not snooty and very suitable for family and casual dinners.

Liked the pizza - potato one was great with really thin slices. Bit disappointed by the starter of unpasteurised cheese with walnuts and figs. For 149rmb you would expect more than two walnuts and three figs. Yes, i get that the cheese is homemade etc etc but come on - make it look good by throwing on a few more nuts! To be fair, the staff did offer another bowl when I pointed this out. Going back for the pizza and the service - it's nice when staff actually listen to feedback and act on it.
This intimate little pizza place serves up the thin crust pizzas with not too many toppings as to make the base soggy but still has maximum flavour. We had a mushroom and salami pizza couldn't fault it except maybe the "buffalo mozzarella" claim. I'd like to see the buffalo please. I enjoyed the tiramisu. In fact maybe next time I go it maybe just for dessert.

Overall a very nice place to spend the evening. We began our evening with a fairly decent caprese and a round of drinks. Unfortunately, after the first round was finished we struggled to attract the wait staffs attention for a second round. This proved to be a challenge throughout the evening. Before our appetizers were complete our two pizzas arrived. Both were quite good though the prosciutto on mine seemed a little overdone. For the price I would recommend this restaurant for those that enjoy a more traditional European pizza but I would not choose it for say, a first date.

The pizza choices were interesting and well done. Not just mushroom and ham -- some more inspired choices. Pizza was good. Atmosphere is very comfortable. The drink prices, as the last reviewer mentions, are out of control.

not so much fun. i enjoy the small venue and relaxed atomosphere, but i missed the good value, the rocket pie was a fresh and simply made well pizza, but the beverage prices are typically high. now its a matter of consistency, i think it takes time. I think La Casbah serves just as good as a pie as Willis's La Strada and for fraction of the price. Buffalo Mozzerella??? I don't think so.

Food was amazing! all pizza and deserts very delicious! But very disappointed with the service, cant get the order correct and the waiters very very rude.
