Hi! I need some advice, please. I'm interested in coming to China, and possibly to Shanghai. I've already got job offers from some English schools and they are ready for me to come over. I'm ready, too. The problem is my boyfriend wants to come with me and work also, but he's not qualified to be a teacher, he doesn't have a degree or much professional experience outside of restaurant work and customer service. We were hoping he could come in and maybe work "under the table" as a chef or at a hostel or a private English conversation partner. Are there many people that do this?
