Also known as the pearl market, this is where you go for fake pearls that look like the real thing. You can also find better quality jade accessories on the top floor and the usual hodge podge of knock off name brands on the first floor.

How can those cigarette lighters be so cheap... and all the great brands?
The building has recently been renovated and is a good place to look for watches, Ipods, mobile phones, all sorts of electrical gadgets, jewelry and yes even some pearls. You can bargain like crazy!
Make sure you go next door (behind) for some excellently priced kids toys. Plastic model kits 1:18th - 1:47th scale metal car models (even Ferraris), toy helicopters of all sizes, construction kits, model airplanes (to us the US spelling) and battery operated toys of many varieties.
At least a couple of hours of fun for bargain hunters. Diagonally across the main intersection there is an old "hutong" and if you are a photographer seeking pictures of old buildings, doorways and traditional Beijing 'suburban' life they don't seem to mind if you wander around, or they didn't the day I went. In B3 of the Pearl Market next door is the BEST Halloween costume shop in town. Everything you need - fake spiders, mummy, outfits under one roof.
