The Learning Center was established in 2004 to cater to the needs of expatriate and local students who need support or enrichment in a wide variety of academic subjects, including mathematics, English as a Second Language, and the sciences. The Center provides 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 tutorial work with students, as well as some small group classes. We are also happy to arrange specially designed classes for students between the ages of 6 and 18.

The Learning Center works closely with parents, students and classroom teachers or counselors to develop individual academic support programs. We also offer SSAT and SAT test prep tutoring and workshops.
Founded by an American Montessori teacher, TLC strives to create a positive, nurturing environment for struggling students to reach their goals. The Learning Center also offers enrichment courses in most major subjects for students who would like to enhance their strengths.
TLC tutors have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in their area of expertise and at least one year of tutoring or teaching experience. All instructors are fluent or native speakers of English. Call us today or visit our website to find a program to suit your child's needs.

We are thrilled to announce that, to date, nearly 300 students are participating in this season's Beijing Book, from across the city, and we have received more than 500 book reports! We are looking forward to two more months of reading, and new participants are always welcome. We will see you at the awards on March 7th!
