Bass is the name of the game in Beijing's only high-end hip-hop club, where women in shimmering six-inch stilettos and men nursing whiskeys grind to rap and R&B hits. With 26 VIP booths, a Rolls Royce Phantom DJ booth and silver-sequins-lined restrooms, there is no wilder place to shake your thang.
- Contributor Description
This ultra-chic, high-end hip-hop club just opened its doors to Beijing on August 9 in Solana. Come and see what the hype is all about!!
Bling is a sexy, trendy new hip-hop club that will bring a new level of class and style to hip-hop clubs in Beijing.
Decked out in seductive purple hues and diamonds with a Rolls Royce Phantom DJ booth with 26 inch rims, Bling is lavish, funky, and original. A truly phenomenon space about 500 sq meters, this attractive space will appeal to everyone with 26 VIP tables to choose from, all strategically positioned throughout the club.
Guests can choose from elevated, highly visual DJ VIP tables on both sides of the pimped out DJ booth, tables in close proximity to the two main cocktail bars, tables on the outdoor terrace, or the more private VIP tables named Bling VIP and the Cheetah Lounge.

A great place to be if you're interested in bottle service and lounging. Not so great for straight up dancing until 5 in the morning. When I went (Saturday night) there weren't many people really dancing and the dance space was quite small. Most people (all dressed to kill) kind of stick to the sides of the minuscule dance area watching or tapping a foot so if you want to dance you better like dancing with yourself and for an audience. My experience was more bearable because I happened to go with a large group (around 10 people) so we could make our own dance party but chances are that one may not have their own portable dance party handy at all times. Good service, ambiance, cool veranda, etc. A great lounge in my opinion

Heard so many good things about this place, but seriousely, Not that Great!
Drinks- no many choices, and charged overpice; Dancing stage - Occupied by the car, Is the dancing about the car? Well, in Bling, It Is! Something wield about the deco, reminds me of chang-an street, not consistanc in style - Dirty Sex Car & Dustfree Crystal.
This place is maybe a classic version of mix and vics, classic because its location. It certainly got some crowds obssed with.

Very expensive and the service is poor. I would not go here again. Beware - this place is filled with 13 and 14 year olds playing dress up. As a teacher, we went in one night and had to leave after seeing that many students we taught or had taught were dancing away on the dance floor. Bling should be more careful about who they let in! I know there are no "legal" drinking ages here....but still!

Bling club has the best bass in Beijing!!!

In summer on weekends this place rocks. There is a good crowd and yes you come here not to drink, but to check out whats happening in beijing ! Keep a tab on when there is a event or a good party or a good DJ is playing and go then, then you can enjoy the music too.

We heard a lot of bad things about it, so we went to check out just for fun. Music was mainstream hip hop crap, but Bling was a total people circus and was strangely fun for the first thirty minutes. It gets old pretty fast through. Lots of squeaky models and exposed abs, nice eye candy but absolutely nothing for the brain. Total pick-up joint, and if your young, look reasonably successful and have nice teeth I think you can have a chance here. Saw a lot of girls posing with chest out, with as much cleavage as they could muster at photographers constantly snapping away. But other than the self worship not many people dancing, Suggest you skip it and go to a show, or a book reading, or just about anything. Not worth the entry fee unless your into cute vapid girls with super annoying voices. Despite the overbearing bass system, we could still here the squealing girls next to our area. Definitely cuts down on the sex appeal if her voice can slice your skin off. Left in an hour spent way to much money for no reason.

Likes: the beautiful people (crowd/dancers), friendly staff, nice decor/lightings. Dislike: the entry fee concept, expensive drinks.

2.5 stars. I wouldn't say it sucks -- Bling is a fun place to go with a group of friends, especially if you're already drunk when you get there and don't have to pay RMB50 for vodka and mixers, but sometimes you just have to overpay for drinks to have a good night. My problem with Bling is that I went there one Saturday and really liked the music, and then I went back the next Saturday and it was EXACTLY the same songs, in the same order, at the same time. Seems like they just have one mix CD/playlist. Also, they are total nazis about that silly car they have sticking into the dance floor. Don't dare to put your bag on it or even lean on it or there will be a bouncer there in .5 seconds yelling at you. Why put something in the middle of a nightclub if no one's allowed to touch it?

This club sucked. looked it up online and this site said it was great. i went there on a friday night and was allowed in free. that was the first indication that this club sucked. very small and had 30 year old guys dancing like morons. Was not fun, very dissapointing.
never been, don't really wanna go.......but yer wan in the picture has some arse

Went here 2 weeks ago. It has all the things required for a great techno club. The decor, the music system and the quality of the DJ ,all this is great They have some great organisers ,not necessary they are there for all weekends.
The drinks are expensive, u get a feeling they are there to rip u off.
Go for the trendy stuff , not to drink really.

This place is like the club equivalent to Element Fresh: All buzz, no bite.
Mediocre drinks, that are way overpriced.
Arrogant staff, and a heavy emphasis on forcing you to drop $ on a table/bottle.
Hip hop? All I've ever heard is the same pop pablum that gets played in every other club in town,
Small space with limited tables / booths / standing room / dancing area.
The DJ booth is admittedly very cool, and the girls that frequent this joint are hot. But that's it.
Completely uncreative promotions. For example... REAL RUSSIAN NIGHT? Are you freaking kidding me? Chocolate's a 15 minute cab ride away. THAT is a real Russian nightclub.
I really don't get the obsession with this place.

went thr on Sat

Agree on the DJ booth design. Awesome... Now if only they could fill it with a good DJ. It's not that the music is horrible. But with every song change their DJ seems to manage to kill my mood... Yes, drinks are expensive, but good quality, so that's ok, i think. All in all though I dont ever find a reason to go...

Bling is a Great Club well Designed The Detailed Design was done by a Beijing Interior Design Company BDM Interior Design I think the Car as a DJ box was a Great Idea too.

Although this place is quite small and the cost of drink is more expensive ( compared ViCs,Mix) .. but here the Music is so fucking fun..and the dancer are beautiful""i like to see her dance>>wowow>> Try it if u want to meet many foreign friends in the nice decorate place""

never saw a more boring place. yeah i know its nice to see the chicas lined up, but that can not be all

Nice Nice NICE. Good fun crowd, best sound system in Beijing, great service from the bar staff. The music though is really disappointing. Bling claims to be a hip-hop club, but sadly, its the same pop-style, commercial, predictable hip-hop as can be heard in any other club in Beijing... come on guys... push the quality up a notch and dare to be different... there is life after snoop dog, dr dre, 50 cent etc.

Great interior design, great mix of global crowd. The space is not huge, but it is intimate. Good size dance space. They did a good job with the club. Since advertise itself is a hip-pop club they should really bring forth the true hip-pop music of the world.

A-lister party last night was pretty good, good vibe, etc etc but the music is just on the tolerable side. Why don't they play some good rap music? Has the DJ ever even heard of NWA, Public Enemy, or Blackalicious? If I hear Golddigger one more effing time...

Went back crazy packed as usual dress nice picked up a hottie there

BEST PLACE IN BEIJING!!! but seriously I really loved it the place has a nice decor really hip and the bar actually makes drinks. Pretty girls when I was there bartenders are hot. just a nice chill place to go for sure.

Bling is definitely the spot to be seen or to see the hottest people in town! All the ladies were dressed to seduce and very hot! Bling was blasting the best Hip-Hop in Beijing all night long!

The best bass in Beijing!
With its ultra "bling" decor, this club is definitely deserving of its name. Loved the Rolls Royce DJ booth and the smooth beats that came out of it. With Vics and Mics closed, Bling definitely fills a void in Beijing!

Bass: The Final Frontier
With one of the most outrageous and visible ad campaigns in expat rag history, Solana’s first club swiftly built the buzz it needed for a packed-to-the-walls launch earlier this month. Soon celebrities like Chris Tucker, Carl Lewis and even Evander Holyfield were stopping by to get their grooves on. After all, who wouldn’t want to party at a high-end hip-hop club called Bling? Set up by Sebastien Noat, who previously launched Centro and Block 8, Bling delivers on its promise. Elegant leather VIP booths are stacked with bottle service behind the silvery beaded curtains that sequester the high rollers from a hopping dance floor. DJs throw R&B and hip-hop hits from inside a custom built DJ booth, designed to resemble a Rolls Royce Phantom. And the club is filled with the sweetest, most bone-crushing bass in the universe. Every beat sounds like Biz Markie, Chubb Rock and all three of the Fat Boys having heart attacks at once. Even the bathrooms are blinged out with silver sequins. The club attracts a young mix of wild expat partiers and internationally minded locals who want nothing more than to dance themselves out of their mind to the baddest bass in Beijing.
