On any evening of the week, this high-ceilinged Irish pub is brimming with rosy cheeked professionals eager to enjoy pints of Guinness while cheering on their home teams on one of four plasma screens. The barkeeps, dressed in tailored black silk uniforms with stitched Irish flags, are attentive and know how to keep the pints flowing.

these guys have great beer but they got to do something about their food. I ordered a steak sandwich and it came with half cooked fries and a big mound of lettuce with some dressing sprinkled on it (side salad?) The worst is that damn thousand island dressing on the sandwich...yuck

Good place to watch sport and chat. Drinks and food list is good and staff is nice. There is always a good ambiance
My favorite place to watch sport.
this place, before ganges opened above it, was a place i really didn't think to go to. now you can order ganges in paddys and have it brought down. that's a big bonus.

A friend and I went to Paddy's for the Wednesday pub quiz, and we had a great time. The bar itself is really well done—just like a real Irish pub, with high stools, tons of sports decor, etc. The Guinness was great, and we loved sitting by the open floor-to-ceiling windows that look onto the street, especially once the night air started to cool down.

Great trivia night on Wednesdays at 8:30, and fun sporting events aired throughout the day/night and into the next morning sometimes. Paddy's also has great happy hour prices and decent food. Love it.

great bar, always have a fun time here and now that footie season has begun again it is the only place to go and watch the games that has a great atmosphere..

love the beer, love the pool table, just wish the staff was a bit less forgetful. Great hangout!

An amiable lot the Irish are, and O'Shea's is where ye should seek them. Love the beer, the people, and who could forget...QUIZ NIGHT!

I Like the crowd. "There seems to be many Irish around in Beijing"~this is how I feel when I step in to the pub. Nice draft beer available (Guinness, Kilkenny, Boddington, Stella Artois)at reasonable price. The Fish & Chips are a little pricey (not justifiable for the portion and the flavour). Nice decor (very Irish), even the toilets are in greenish glass and tiles : )
Really good place to go and hang out. High ceilings, dark wood, a pool table and fabulous Guinness.
The food turned out to be surprisingly good too. The lunch time special of a soup or a salad and a main for RMB 68 is good value and more than dleivers on the quality front.

Great place - I don't know what I was expecting, but it out did it! If id known there was a place like this I would have been there more often! Will be heading back there on some after work nights I think!

Extremely well done. I thought it must be a part of a well established chain at first. Close to perfection.

Nice Spot! Good location, Real Irish style with a dance floor upstairs. Guinness flowing & a great crowd.

With just over a month since opening, Beijing’s Irish pub, Paddy O’Shea’s, has become a true phenomenon. On any evening of the week, O’Shea’s high-ceilinged hall is brimming with rosy cheeked professionals eager to enjoy pints of the capital’s best draught Guiness (YY50) while cheering on their home teams on one of four plasma screens. The barkeeps, dressed in tailored black silk uniforms with stitched Irish flags, are attentive and know how to keep the Kilkenny (YY50) and Carlsberg (YY25) flowing. O’Shea’s offers a range of quality whiskeys as well, from Jameson (YY35) to Glenfiddich 18 years (Y50). Pub food staples, including sandwiches and greasy fries (YY20), make for a perfect post-work snack during the 30 percent off happy hour (daily, 3pm-7pm). On weekends, pub owner Glenn Phelan opens Shenanigans, the upstairs disco, to help accommodate the crowd, which continues to grow larger each weekend. Perfect for shamrockers. –Blake Stone-Banks
