mostly cocktails, would prefer a few more beer options - great for table conversation, owner lets you dj and has every artist you ever heard of but none of the songs you're familiar with
Super cool decor, always great music, good service. The new sour apple martini is absolutely delicious, and I've liked all the other drinks I've had here, too. Last winter, a waiter told me the bar didn't give free water anymore (outrageous! unacceptable!), but then he brought me water anyway. I do hope this no free water thing is not really a policy -- not really fair when you're paying for RMB50+ for drinks. The semi-outdoor couches are really comfortable and a great spot for warmer weather. George himself is also really cool, and I always like seeing him. :)

Just stellar drinks, with care put into making them. Great ambiance, decor is pretty slick and music fits well (and isn't too loud...yay!). Great for a few mates to relax and shoot the sh*t, while also a hip spot to bring a date for a drink. George is a great guy, and his staff are well trained. Not pressured into buying additional drinks, can just sit there for a bit talking with people, ponder the drink list for what to try next, and they'll just bring a glass of water without asking for the meantime. Bartenders actually knowledgable and can make a drink just by asking you a few questions. Even had some custom drinks made not on the menu, doing a bit of experimentation! If you're into the 'cocktail culture' or just want a slice of quality at a quite frankly, very reasonable price, this is your place, one of Beijing's best for sure.
Apart from the fact most of the crowd was made up of foreigners, I really fell in love with this place. People sit either around large communal tables in the center or along the back wall. The drink list and cocktails are fantastic with a clear and easy to understand menu. Music was excellent until around 12.00 when it changed from cool down-tempo house into 1980s Eurotrash at a ridiculously high volume which seemed to sit awkwardly with everything else the bar appears to aim to be.
Good bar. Have mixed crowd. chinese and foreigners. Good for networking as well as having good time with drinks .
Excellent drinks, maybe the best I've had in town! It has a great atmosphere, decor and music, plus a very professional staff. Walk left from the hot dog restaurant at Gongti.
Very nice bar to hang out with friends. Amazing cocktails and quite a good whisky selection. Only one point that bothers me a bit is that the music is sometimes a bit too loud to have a chat with a bigger group of people. Otherwise cool location for nice drinks!!!
i had my doubts about a bar in the side of a stadium (fubar works in the speakeasy way, this place aims to be seen), but i was won over. an anonymous admirer of george's work with q bar, i agree that his new place's music bumps a good groove. it was mostly empty when i met some friends for drinks the other weeknight, but it was pleasantly chill and certainly didn't hurt with service. my manhattan was slightly hot, but mostly balanced, and the flavors were spot on.
Went here last weekend. It's a very nice place and it somehow reminds me of those HK bars around Lan Kwai Fong, Hollywood and D'Aguilar. It's small but trendy. Drinks are stellar. Nice crowd. Just one thing that kinda bug us, the music. Was too loud. Can't talk to everyone. I barely can hear what the person sitting next to me talking. But I want to come back!
Just tried this for the first time recently. It was very good. We were there quite early on in the night, so the place was mostly empty. Very good drinks! And they even brought us water with our peanuts without us asking them too, rather than trying to get us to buy more cocktails. The staff seems to be very well trained and were attentive, but didn't hover. We sat on the patio, which is really inside, but just with no wall... It was a nice place to be though and we enjoyed it.
Tried the place out the other night and was impressed by the cocktails (lychee martinis -very nice!) and the prices. Service was fast and efficient. Music was good, atmosphere was chill. Will be back soon.
This bar is serious business, and you clearly see that George is the man when it comes to cocktails. The prices are kept reasonable and the wide doors are a very nice asset that'll help making degusting a drink in this outlet an even more enjoyable experience.
Zhou makes good drinks always . Will keep visiting him . I keep trying whatever he suggests ! God bless him with his new venture.

Having left Q Bar to open his own venue, master mixologist George Zhou faced sky-high expectations for his first solo flight. He exceeds them. The disco and classic funk soundtrack, smart service and luscious cocktails will transport you to another world. Try the sour apple martini (¥45), or sip an ice-cold “mango mash” (¥50) on the patio. And always ask what’s new. Zhou will be debuting four new specialty cocktails every month.
