With an always-occupied pool table, foosball table that sees plenty of action and sports on the TV, this pub draws a regular, sporty crowd. It features a deep beer menu and skilled bartenders who make mean caipirihnas to go along with excellent pub grub fare. Tuesdays are Quiz Night and Fridays feature specials on shooters, cocktails and bottles.

The bar is okay but for us the real treat is the patio. There is probably room for 30 around old school white plastic picnic tables. A few large trees provide shade. It’s a very comfortable hang out on the weekend. Beer is moderately priced and staff are attentive.
Great place for a beer and catch up with the boys. Reasonable prices and a wide range of beer-friendly activities, including darts, pool and foosball. Nice pub atmosphere while still being able to hear yourself over the music.
the old one is still around! strong, cheap drinks ... go for the mojito, it is made with care but well worth the 10 minute process. this place is still perfect if you want a chill atmosphere where you control the dj-ing and can buy some chuar right night door!
things have changed the picture is of the old black sun on south san li tun - the new one isn't so easy to find. they don't have cheap g&t either. the place is still ok for playing pool & frozen carlsbergs though.
cheap The good thing about this bar is the cheap drinks (well, some of them as the Gin Tonic are). Downside: the rather bad service. I had some rather uncomfortable experiences at this bar. Hence: cheap yes. but unfortunately not only the drinks..
I have always liked this bar and have been a regular for quite some time. Was a bit worried about "new management" but since the switch over the bar is much better. More events, cleaner bathrooms and Tom, the manager is a good guy.
