With a palette of lime green, white and black, the look and feel of the restaurant is sleek and welcoming, with open booth-type seating upholstered in white leather and playful white bubble-shaped ceiling lights.

The restaurant’s SuperFoodsRx™ menu includes nourishing, wellness-enhancing foods—rich in beneficial nutrients and antioxidants, and naturally low in calories. Breakfast options include an assortment of juices, from orange to carrot and mango as well as fresh oatmeal muffins and muesli with natural yogurt, among other healthful choices.

On Sundays we pull out all the stops for our Bubbalicious brunch, a popular event for locals as well as hotel guests. Especially appealing to families, the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. Open cooking stations offer noodles, dim sum, teppanyaki, Indian favourites, carving stations, and more. An “around-the-pillar” buffet offers colorful salads, kebabs, Chinese specialties, and luscious desserts. This festive, prix fixe brunch includes unlimited champagne, wine, cocktails, mocktails, milkshakes and fresh juices.

The food selection is not much better than the usual hotel buffet spread. Lackluster Cantonese dim sum, insipid Italian on hot plates and not so fresh seafood. The caviar service was underwhelming even on a soggy biscuit. The only flavours I tasted today were the mango chutney with the chicken tikka but I didn't pay RMB 398+++ for canned baked beans and french fries, especially with the free flow of Moet instead of the classier Veuve. The excellent service barely made this a better experience.

A far cry from the Westin in Shanghai. I will not be back.

It seems to be a sort of rite of passage for those who have ”made it”. Definitely, the Westin brunch is the place to be seen. Be forewarned, the guests dress up and stare and size each other up. The room is simply full of pompous pricks who think they are the best in town. Foolishly they don't seem to notice that the Westin brunch offers significantly less variety than the other brunches, and the seafood, particularly the lobster, is not fresh to say the least and horrifyingly chewy, nor are the grilled meats well prepared, but rather quite salty. But perhaps it is simply and successfully taking advantage of the dim witted patrons who continue to incorrectly and stupidly claim that this is the best brunch in town. Their money than is definitely well wasted.
