This hike starts at the Walled Village, a converted army barracks that used to house soldiers tasked with guarding the Great Wall in the area. We’ll investigate the ruins of what locals say was the original White Cloud Temple in the Beijing area, as well as a 500-year old ginkgo tree that has a Level 1 Natural Treasure rating. From there we will follow a trail that climbs gradually through chestnut orchards to a big pine tree at a pass on the ridgeline.
This hike costs 280RMB - please call us, or use the booking form on our website to reserve your place on the bus and to find out about the time and place of departure. Reservations are essential. The cost includes transportation, guides, water, and snacks and drinks after the hike.
