This place features a “Fat Bitch” wrap and a Penn State Joe Pa-tini. They also offer burgers, NYC style pizzas and sandwiches that come in decent portions. The portions are big, but you can wash it all down with a drink or two (or three).

Had the jalapeno bacon cheeseburger and a bucket of belgian beers. This led to more beers, and then more, and finally total inebriation. Fun spot, bonus points for having kitties, and I liked my burger. Happy hour 6 - for -3 beers is a great deal if you don't mind getting brainless before 8pm. Did I mention the cute kitties?

10RMB tsingdaos on Saturdays for as long as they last! So great! It's the perfect, cheap pregame spot.

Good tasting burger love the fried onions on top. Fries cooked of been cooked more and more seasoning. Service and atmosphere is good, good value for money.

PIRO is one of the places we always hangout with close friends, especially sunday afternoons. I love the fat bitch there, very fat! And ppl there are sooo friendly!

Really nice burgers and great selection of beer at very reasonable prices (pint Stella 35, hoegarden 45). The burgers are massive, the patty is thick, juicy and full of flavor and the bread is well grilled and not overly sweet. Fantastic joint & I'll be back.
Also, didn't notice any dogs but I do hope no Pomerian will jump on my table and steal my burger away next time I'm there!
Ahhh, and very friendly staff too!
Only real complaints I have was yes, the music

I came to Piro with my Pomeranian and we had a wonderful time. I have actually searched far and wide for dog-friendly restaurants in Shanghai and make a point of eating there regularly. I appreciate how the server brought my dog a bowl of water and took our order promptly. I ordered the quesadilla which was pretty tasty and my boyfriend ordered pancakes and a breakfast plate. We will be back!

I can't really comment on the food as I didn't stay long enough to order. I really wanted to try this place as I saw they had an American breakfast special on the weekends. Arriving at the restaurant, one patron had ordered the French Toast and it looked good. The decor was nice. The reason that I chose to leave almost immediately was because of the loud, obnoxious, horrible, Asian-pop music that was playing. It did not seem to match the rest of the restaurant (food, decor) and it honestly was so bad (imagine fake baby voices making the same noise over and over) that after 5 minutes and the song still not ending, I had to leave. There was no way I can enjoy a nice Sunday brunch with music like that. It seems like a little thing, but obviously big enough to drive a customer away - rethink your music selection please!

Dear Hangzhong,
PiRO is a pet-friendly establishment and we have many regular customers who enjoy bringing their pets to our restaurant. This, of course, is a choice we have made and understand that a pet-friendly restaurant/bar will not appeal to everyone. Please do note that we always respect our customers wishes and will happily take our pets outside the dining room upon request. Our new Golden Retriever puppy, Mango, is quickly becoming a celebrity in our neighborhood and is warmly welcomed by the vast majority of our guests. Since the Spring weather has arrived, Mango spends most of her time outside our doorway greeting our customers and does not run freely within the restaurant. We hope that this information will help you reconsider returning to PiRO for a second try.
As for the staff training issue, we, like most other restaurants, have a relatively high turnover of our service staff. We do have a few new servers on board that are very enthusiastic and energetic and wish only to do an excellent job serving our guests. They are new to the restaurant business, but are very quick learners. We encourage you and your friends to return to PiRO to see the improvements yourself.
Thank you for your review and critique. We appreciate your feedback.
Sincerely,
The PiRO Management Team

I went here last weekend and the burger I had tasted good and over all the experience was not value for money. So I will rush to go back to the place as I don't really like going to restaurant's or bar's that have cats and dogs walking around inside.
The owner is the only one that looks like he knows what to do service wise and staff needs a lot of training. The place looks up market but animals inside is not my thing. It's a shame as the burger tasted not too bad.

Been twice within one week! GREAT burgers... Had the Jalapeno/caramelized onion/bacon burger. Very tasty.
